Strolling around town

Getting out of the city.

Our First plan was to spend 4 days in Nha Trang.  We decided on a private tour with a guide and driver for our group of 13 people.  We got a brand new Mercedes bus meant for 16 people but it turned out to be just enough space for our group.  Remember we had a bunch of luggages and they took quite some room.

Once we got to Nha Trang, we loved it so much that we extended our travel itinerary to another four days, visiting White Sand Doc Let, Da Lat, and Vung Tau.

Here is the beginning of our adventure...

Our Driver pick us up at the hotel at 8:00am.  We did not realize that it is peak hour in the City!

It was bumper to bumper and we were stuck there for a good 20 minutes.    There is a policemen directly traffic but he only let the other traffic go until a foreigner went out of this car and talk to the policeman.  Finally, the policemen decided to let our side go!

The lady on the left was so mad that our bus blocked her way so she was starting to yell profanity at our driver. Her husband was so embarrassed and kept his head low.  It was funny!

Also note that we are in a traffic jam, suddenly a lady in motorcycle with a mask to protect her from dust, took a short cut and cut through, going the opposite way of traffic, It's a jungle out there! She was not the only one doing so, a lot more people had the same idea.

Little girl on motorcycle with her dad and not wearing a helmet.  Helmets are not a must yet but in the freeway they are.  By this September Helmets will be mandatory on the road.

Workers working on the lawn.. I don't see any lawnmower or any equipment.....

Our first Pit stop. We are buying some Guava and we also bought a lot of Chom Chom (Rambutan).

That's our Mercedes bus/van in the back.  It is brand new and has only 5000 miles on it.

We used the restroom in this rest area and the dinning room is huge.  I am sure it can accommodates at least 500 people.

Driving through a town along the way...

Nice restaurant along the way...

By now we have driving about 3 to 4 hours and we are taking our first lunch break in Mui Ne.

Next... Lunch Time
