Day 3 - Hanging around...
No activity this morning! Our tour guide gave us the morning to do what we wanted to... He is picking us up at 11:30 for lunch.
After breakfast Hoa and I decided to stroll around...
View of the beach from our room...
|
View of the swimming pool from our room. |
Most of us stayed in the main tower overlooking the ocean and then on the last day they moved us to the presidential suite on the 4th and 5th floor.
|
The kids stayed in this tower, the Ocean Club, also over looking the Ocean. |
The Ocean Club is on the left and the Main tower is on the right. Both towers are worth every pennies!
The service is impeccable.
As soon as you walked in the lobby what you will see is this table with beautiful flower arrangement. The S shape represent Vietnam's map. |
The flower girl! She was there before I went to Breakfast and when I returned from my walk (about 2 hours later) she was still there finishing up the arrangement. I guess labor is cheap in Vietnam. In the Stated she would be fired for taking over 2 hours to retouch an arrangement.. Got to say she did a good job! |
|
|
The boys gathered in Kevin's and Vu's room to play games, watching TV and catching up on e-mails! They loved their Ocean Club room so much that they did not care for a walk on the beach. They told me no need to take a walk they can see the Ocean from their room!

As we were walking along the coast line we encountered this lady selling Coc (a type of green mango), dried fish and dried calamari. Once the fish is grilled, she puts it on board and starts hammering it so the meat gets tenderized.
Nha Trang Coast line.... |
Water Lilies in a pond. |
Lunch Time....
Gia Restaurant.. the upstairs. |
Lunch was at Gia Restaurant... Again we got the royal treatment. They set up upstairs in a private room. We had a few people dedicated to just our table. |
After lunch our driver dropped us off to Cho Dam (French lady Market). There are a lots of fake brand name there such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, name it and they have it. The only problem is the quality is not there.
We spend so much time there that we befriended a few vendors there.
