Hon Tam - The Beach

We teased my brother a lot about his Speedo but he is very comfortable wearing it and refused to wear the regular swim short. His kids on the contrary are not about to wear a Speedo any time soon. They said "Thanks but not Thanks!" |
The boys decided to go canoeing.... As for us, the adults we just enjoyed the water. A touch cold when you get in but it is really nice once you are in it. We were in the water for a long time because it was nice but we noticed as time goes by that you see plastic bag floating by and other junk.. People just throw things in the water once they are done eating.. The problem start with a total lack of garbage can. None was to be found on the beach... |

We are having a very good time! None of us wanted to get out. The water is so good!

Time to go... Our tour guide is going to take us to another island really close by for lunch.
All dressed up to go..
Lunch Time...
We took another boat ride to another smaller island close by for lunch. The ride is about 5 minutes.

We had to go through this area to get to the restaurant.. Isn't it a wonderful setting?
There is no way we can find this type of restaurant on our own. So far, our tour guide is doing a wonderful job taking us to these wonderful and unique place.
More good food! The shrimps are so fresh and sweet and everything on the menu was wonderful!

Here the whole gang (13 of us), we had Lau ca, ca kho to, Oyster etc... Another wonderful meal!
