Eiffel tower-6/8/2022
This is our last day in Paris and we are just going to take it easy and walk around town.
We stopped by a cafe for breakfast.

Coffee and a tartine (bread with jam and butter). The bread is so delicious and the coffee is strong and flavorful.

We are done with our breakfast and we are headed to the Eiffel Tower. It is raining but that will not stop up to walk around.

We are on Avenue Anatole France and the Eiffel tower is in the back ground.

The Eiffel tower is now surrounded by a Plexiglas fence. You can no longer walk underneath the tower.
Following a series of terrorist attacks in 2015, France has been on high alert and has had to upgrade its security infrastructure. Along with increased security, the Eiffel Tower is surrounded by a bullet proof wall of 8 ft. high to prevent terrorist attacks.
