Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas

Day 6 - Snorkeling trip-
Stuart Cove's program concentrate on snorkeling as a primary activity and will not dilute the experience with food or alcohol (booze cruise). This is totally about snorkeling and snorkeling only!
The crew threw some food (looks like dog's food) and the fish just came up the surface to eat.
There so many of them...
It takes me a while to get use to the equipment. At first I felt like I could not breathe but after about 5 minutes I was able to relax and snorkeling became really relaxing. |

There are 3 stops in our Snorkeling program. The first stop is basic snorkeling with a bunch of different tropical marine life. There are all kind of different fish, big, small, some are beautiful and others funky looking, and some more colorful then others.
The second stop is in the shallow water of Nassau's famous coral reefs. Typically the bottom is at 10-25 feet. Some of reefs are only a couple of feet below the surface of the water so we had to swim around them. We were told not to touch the reefs because we will contaminate them with oil, etc. and they will die.
Back on the boat with roll call. It was funny to hear the crew calling out Vietnamese names!
Next...swimming with the sharks
