Day 1 -View from the Sheraton

Before heading back to our hotel Hoa suggested getting a drink at the Sheraton.  The Sheraton lounge is located on the top floor and has an amazing view of the Harbor.

Impressive stairways inside the Sheraton

The Sky Lounge is located on the top floor and is the perfect place to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbor.  Our waiter told us that If you time it right you can enjoy the sunset along with a great cocktail.

View of Victoria harbor inside the Sky lounge of the Sheraton.  Pretty impressive view for sure!

The pink building on the right is the Hong Kong Museum of Art.  Located right on the waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui along the Victoria Harbor and next to the Avenue of Stars which is modeled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (I'll tell you more about the Avenue of stars in the end of our trip).

This is the InterContinental Hong Kong, not to be confused with the InterContinental Grand Stamford where we are staying.

Both are 5 stars hotel but this one is nicer.

This is the Avenue of Stars.  It is a really nice stroll on the waterfront (again I'll tell you more later).

On the other side of the Harbor is Central District as viewed from Tsim Sha Tsui.

Cargo boat...

At the bottom is the Convention Center in Wanchai.

Wan Chai is an area situated on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island

The tall building in the back is the International Finance Center Tower (ifc).

ifc tower used to be the tallest building but now is  the second tallest building in Hong Kong, behind the International Commerce Centre in West Kowloon.

Old fashion Chinese boat.  They are just for show because they are really not efficient as the new boats.

The view is really awesome!

Enjoying our cocktail and the view of the Harbor.
