Day  3-Soul  Bar & Bistro -4/14/2024

We are headed to Soul Bistro located on the Viaduct Harbor.

 Viaduct harbor is a vibrant waterfront precint located in the heart of Tamaki Makaurau and is home to the best bars, restaurants, and accomodation in the city.

Tonight we are dining at Soul Bistro, a beautiful restaurant located on the Viaduct harbor.

For starter we ordered the smoked trevally toast with lemon parsley mayo

Trevally is a giant fish and has a distinctive, sweet, and midgly nutty flavor.  The taste is often compare to that of a mahi-mahi.  The toast was really good and both of us enjoyed it.

Market fish, red pepper sauce, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and tapenade. 

Excellent fish but I cannot remember the name of it.  It was a local fish, great texture and the sauce was perfect with the fish.

Hawke's bay lamb rack, eggplant, potatoes dumplings, peanut chill crisp.  The Lamb was amazing, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful.

Our two main dishes with a side order of French Fries.

For Dessert we ordered a mandarin & apricot ice cream cake, dacquois, Italian meringue.

Beautiful presentation and it was also so delicious.

After Dinner we walked around the Viaduct Harbor

Lots of boats are docked on the Viaduct Harbor.
