Day 11-Dinner at Charley Noble, Wellington- 4/21/2024
We ate at Charley Noble a few days ago, had an excellent meal, so we are coming back to try different dishes on the menu.
The restaurant is located inside historic the Huddart Parker Building
(1924-1925). The building is a very bold and competent example of
Chicago-style architecture

We did not have a reservation so we came around 6:00pm and the dinning room was pretty empty but they told that the restaurant was booked.
They could not give us a table but they could sit us at the counter which we quickly accepted
Open kitchen. It is really fun to see how the chefs are working behind the scene.
Food ready to be served to picked up for customers.
These two are shucking and preparing oysters for us.
The oysters were delicious!

Cheers! We really enjoyed the oysters.
Rosemary, garlic, Olive oil , Parsley Focaccia
Taramasalata with salmon roe, cucumber.

I never heard of Taramasalata before but basically it is a pinkish paste made from fish roe mixed with olive oil, lemon juice, onion, bread, and seasoning. It is actually very good with a creamy texture, a hint of tanginess and has a salty flavor from the fish.
Smoked fish croquette, béchamel sauce, smoked fish, soft herbs, served with salsa verde

These croquettes are really good with a super crispy exterior that contrasts with a creamy interior.
Fettuccine with prawns, cherry tomatoes, chili oil, baby spinach.
This is the ultimate comfort dish and it is very delicious.
By the time we are done with our meal the restaurant is filled with customers. It is such a fun place to dine and the food is also very good.
