Downtown Taupō is fairly compact, walkable lakeside area with stunning views, friendly energy, and a great mix of shops, dining, and activities. It’s the perfect place to relax after exploring the lake, trails, or falls.
The giant "LOVE TAUPŌ" sign is one of the town’s most iconic and Instagram-worthy landmarks
The sign is located next to the Taupo Lake.

Natural hot Springs running through the property.
They have private mineral pools which are a legendary attraction in the Taupo region. With 12 private pools to choose from varying in temperature, it’s easy to slip into the soothing hot water and feel your worries wash away. There’s nothing better after a day of hiking, skiing or exploring the many attractions the volcanic region of the Central Plateau has to offer.
I forgot to take pictures of the private mineral pools.
