Day 7- Dinner at Yawaraka Hozenji restaurant, Osaka-11/4/22

       

Yawaraka Hozenji is a Sukiyaki restaurant located at the core of Namba area.

Hoa and I we have not eaten Sukiyaki for at while so let's hope we are going to have a good meal tonight

 

We had a tough time looking for this restaurant as there is no English sign.  We asked a few people and then pointed us to the restaurant.

 

This the first floor or the restaurant.  Our table was on the 2nd floor.

We ordered a traditional Sukiyaki that is served with a platter of premium sliced beef and vegetables.

 

Sukiyaki is a Japanese dish that is prepared and served in the Nabemono (Japanese hot pot).

 

 

All the vegetables and meat are put in the pot and slowly cooked or simmered at the table.

 

Our waitress help us cook the food.

 

Our waitress poured the sauce over the hot pot.

 

We were given a bowl to crack raw egg, and the egg was beaten and used to dip the food in .

 

There are Udon noodles, tofu, mushrooms, and an assortment of fresh vegetables in the pot.

 

We also ordered a Beef stew dish.

 

As you can see we ate everything.

 

For dessert, I order green tea ice cream-perfect ending to a meal that warm your heart.

This restaurant is very popular so make sure to reserve a table.  Our bill came to about $45 which is so cheap.  We were so lucky that the dollar is so strong that eating in Japan is now so resonnable.
