Day 2 - Breakfast at the hotel

During our stay in Bangkok we stayed at VIE hotel, A chic boutique five-star hotel conveniently located close to Siam Center and Siam Paragon and the hotel is within 2 miles of Chinatown and Temple of the Golden Mount.

Hoa and I we are early birds and breakfast is an important meal for us!  We don't eat that much but a good cup of coffee is a must to start the day.

The main buffet counter.

This area is westerner breakfast!

Asian corner with porridge, rice noodle soup, egg noodle soup, etc..

Hoa and I we refuse to eat buffet just because we can't control ourselves and we always ending up eating too much!

So we told the waiter we just wanted coffee and a few croissants.

.

The croissants were light, warm and delicious.

The coffee was amazing, strong with a nice taste.  I am so glad to start my morning with a great cup of coffee!

Hoa enjoying his breakfast!.

Interesting chandelier on the ceiling.

This picture was taken the 2nd day of our stay!  Our chauffeur is picking us up at 7:30AM so we woke early and headed for breakfast at 6:30AM.

We were the first patrons in there!

The pastries corner.

Still no buffet for us!  Today we wanted to try a variety of pastries seen here.

I told our waiter that the pastries are really good and he told me that the chef is a French guy.  They baked everything in house.

Buffet station with sausages.

Stir fried beef with oyster sauce.

Rolled ham and beef stew.

This is Asian corner where you get soup.

I enjoyed their coffee a lot and told Hoa I was looking forward every morning to go there and get cup of coffee.

The service is also very wonderful here.  They really take good care of their guests.
