Vung Tau - Lunch
This is our last lunch in Vung Tau... The tour is ending today with us returning back to Saigon. Again our tour guide took us to Hai San (seafood) Song (wave), a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay.
I am pointing at such a ugly fish called Mat Quy( monster's face or devil's face). |
Closer look at Mat Quy fish. I told you he was ugly! I've heard the meat is pretty good. They also have sea snakes, and lots of other fish in different tanks... The sea food in this restaurant is definitely fresh! The ocean is within reach.

The restaurant is located on the shoreline. Rocks acts as a barrier separating the restaurant from the ocean.. |
. |
Very nice surrounding. Eating while looking out on the Bay. There is a boat parked not too far from our table. Eating while watching the boat and the water is so relaxing. |
We all love the look of the restaurant! Lots of mature trees all over the place creating such a nice tropical atmosphere. |
|
The seafood here is also outstanding!
Down town Vung Tau..

After lunch we decided to go shopping and go around town.. Down town is pretty quiet and empty. There is not much to do in Vung Tau beside the Beach.
Here ends out Tour with our guide. The Drive back from Saigon was about a little over 2 hours. We did not encounter any traffic on our way back to the city.
Next... Back to Saigon.
