Stanford University
Stanford university is a private research university located in Stanford, Ca. The University was founded in 1885 by Leland Stanford and his wife, Jane Lathrop Stanford to their son Leland Stafford Jr. who died at age 15 of typhoid. After the death of their only son, The Stamford's no longer could do anything for their own child, they decided to use their wealth to do something for “other people’s” children by building Stanford University.

Stanford has an extensive collection of outdoor art throughout the campus but unfortunately we did not have a lot of time so we only tour a very small portion of the campus. Here are the famous Burghers of Calais by Auguste Rodin -Six individual bronzes.

Beautiful arcades.

Dinner at Anh Hong
Meng, Chanh and the cousins love to eat Vietnamese so we decided to have bo 7 mon (7 beef course) at Anh Hong.
The Next Morning (Monday)
This is the last day for Meng and Chanh. After Breakfast we said our goodbyes and hopefully we will see during the next reunion in Laos with all of Hoa's classmates of Vientiane. Hoa was really happy to reconnect with his long lost friend and also got a long so well with Chanh and his cousins that we felt that they are part of the family!
