Day 2 -Hiking- Tokopah Falls Trail

The bears came back late that night and ate 2 dozens assorted Krispy Cream donuts, they also ate a case of mangoes and drank our coke and Sprite. These lockers are really hard to open, so we assume we did not close it properly.  Lesson well learn!  From there on, we make sure our food were stored properly!  In a way, we still lucked out, they only ate our breakfast.

However, the kids were disappointed they did not have Donuts for Breakfast!  We did improvised by given them scrambled eggs.

After having Breakfast, the kids played poker while waiting for the adults to get ready.

In the parking lot... We are ready for our hike.

Tokopah Falls is a popular day-hike for families. The trail begins just across the bridge in the Lodgepole Campground, and is 1.7 miles (2.7 km) each way.

The 3 Amigos!  Kevin, Justin and Nicky

Here we are starting our hike.  The kids are ahead of us.

We stopped at the first mini waterfall we stumbled on.

Group gathering before hiking up to our destination the main waterfall "Tokopah Falls".

This picture was taken when we went further up to see Tokopah Falls, but to our disappointment it had dried up.

Nevertheless, there are still a bunch holes carved into the rocks filled with water.  We saw a few small fish swimming in them, and the kids could take a dip!

It was around 1:30PM we were so hungry! time to have lunch!

A bunch of them (mostly kids supervised by Hoa and Duy) took the difficult  trail back so we could have lunch. Justin and Kevin were leading the pack leaving everyone behind them.

The kids posing after reaching their destination.

This picture was taken when everybody already had lunch.

You should seen the line for getting a sandwich! it was worse than being at  "Lee Sandwich".  Chi Thu probably could charge us a few bucks for it, and all of us were more than willing to fork out the dough.

The sandwich was so yummy! it also help that we were starving to death!

Next... Day 3- Grant Grove
