Picnic in Santa Cruz - 7/16/05

It was an unbelievable hot day in San Jose about 100 degree, by the time we passed summit point  the barometer dropped down consistently, and by the time we reached Twin Lake State Beach Park the weather was cold (60+ degree), foggy, and windy.  We knew that Santa Cruz was at least 15 degree cooler than San Jose but we did not expected the weather to be freezing.

Setting up the table for food.

Ngoc is probably stirring a pot of Chao Ga prepared by

 Doan or perharps Ba Gi..

The Vietnamese Charlie's Angels!

Hanh, Doan and Chau

Tuan N., Duy and Tuan Vu relaxing and enjoying their drinks.

Glass bottles are not allowed on the beach so we have to pour beers into foam cups.

We have here Hai and Tuan but notice how foggy it is....

Yep! I might look like a fool with my ski jacket on in the middle of summer but it sure kept me warm

We were freezing but not the kids!  They move around so much that most of them did not even need a jacket
