Picnic in Santa Cruz -7/16/05

By the time we were done eating, night was falling slowly.  The kids were able to play foot ball and having a great time.. The only regret we had was that they did not allow people after 10:00Pm on the beach. If we had the option to stay longer, we probably could stay at least until midnight.

We tried to buy logs at the store but we did not realized that they were available in the winter only.  Fortunately, Son was able to use pallet from his work and transform them into logs.

It felt wondeful to gather around the fire... It was just so cold!

The kids lined up to play some kind of game

I believe the 1st person in line representing the head had to run and tried to catch the tail (the last person in line).  Son taught them this game.  looks like they are all having a ball here.

Kids preparing the smore...

They decided to get their own little fire going because the main bon fire was way to hot and too difficult to handle the smores.

You can definitely tell it was a cold night!  we all had jackets on and sitting around the fire.
