Warm chocolate and Raspberry tart - 12/708

Another festive dessert to bring to the party tonight!  Dark chocolate decorated with bright red raspberries dusted with powered sugar to create an impression of snow. Beware this chocolate raspberry tart is a gustatory seductress!  The ganache filling is barely bake and almost like a custard, soft and rich and silken and smooth.  The filling is also studded with raspberries to create another layer of taste.  The sweet almond crust that cradles the filling offers a little buttery taste and a touch of crunch.

This tart is also a feast to the eye!

Close look at the chocolate tart.

Preparation work..

Blind baking the crust made from scratch

Melting the chocolate and butter

The chocolate and butter is melting...

Once the mixture is melted and cooled down, egg are added

Using a spatula, the eggs are stirred in gently in ever widening circles and taking care not to agitate the mixture ( we do want to beat air into the ganache)

Little by little sugar is added.

The ganache is then poured in the tart filled with fresh raspberries.

Ready to go in the oven for 11 minutes just enough time to turn the top of  tart dull.

Freshly out of the oven and ready to put to decorate the tart.
