Thai fish cake -Tod mun pla -- 4/22/09
Tod mun pla is another Thai dish that is sold on every street corner in Thailand. Tod mum pla can be made with nearly any type of fish but I simplify it by using store bought fish paste available at all the Asian supermarket. The cakes take very little time to put together but this dish is a great appetizer served with sweet chili sauce and cucumber salad. This dish makes a great party food or appetizer!

Preparation work..
string beans are cut shorter and then chopped. |
Once all the sting beans are chopped, I am adding them to the fish paste. |
The ingredients for the Tod mun are very simple, one egg beaten, 1 table spoon of red curry paste, 1/4 spoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, finely chopped kaffir leaves, chopped string beans, and of course the main ingredient is fish paste. |
All the ingredients are mixed together and then form into patties and then pan fried. |
