We stayed at the Krystal Hotel.  The beach is only a few steps from the pool.

TULUM

The Mayan ruins of Tulum is a city  perched on a towering limestone cliff overlooking the magnificent Caribbean Sea.  Today it is Mexico's most visited pre-Hispanic site. Tulum was a very important center of commerce and a place of pilgrimage in the past. Tulum is worth a visit because of the magnificent view and the charm of its ruins.

                        It is not very clear but that's a lizard resting against the rock, and it the back ground a multitude of small fish.
