Mom and Dad

This picture was taken in Saigon on 2/15/1955. They were still newly wed. My mom was 24 years old and my dad was 26 years old. My mom was then 4 months pregnant with my brother Charles.

In the back my dad wrote (Translate to English): In that time period life was even more beautiful, and the sun shone even brighter than today, and the Nord wind carried them with the noises.

My grand Pa (Mr. Journée) and My Dad. This is the only picture of them together as adult. My dad visited my grand-pa when he was doing his service Militaire (army duty) in France. This picture was taken around 1947/1950. My dad would be around 18 to 21 years old.
