Day 2- Breakfast at Lenôtre Pastry shop

First Day Beatles - Love Lenôtre Hotels-Casinos Mesa Grill Bowers Museum

Gaston Lenôtre ranks amongst the best of the best French pastry chef so it is an understatement to say that Las Vegas is lucky to have a branch of his Paris pastry shop. This is really sort of a sweet-lover's boutique, but the core attraction remains these gorgeous desserts, perfect little éclairs, fruit tarts that look like they were painted by Cézanne and a terrific array of tiny, intensely delicious chocolates.

The shop is perfect for people who only want to eat lightly for Breakfast.  They have the most delicious croissants, baked fresh daily, pain au chocolate and a variety of authentic French pastries.  If heaven did not exist then Lenôtre definitely create one right here in his shop.

Pastry display filled with gorgeous treats!

Don't tell me you are not tempted just looking at this display!

Coffee cup at Lenôtre.  Every morning Hoa and I we went down to Lenôtre for Breakfast.  We usually ordered a cup of coffee and a freshly baked croissant and a pain au chocolat et voila Breakfast is served.

Next to Lenôtre is a very good Crêperie.  Kevin always request to have lunch there.

Here is the menu.  Kevin tried the Bayonne on the 1st day and the St Louis on the second day. They are both good but he preferred the St. Louis.

Since Kevin wakes up around 11:00 am, it is too late for Breakfast so he opted for crêpes to satisfy his hunger.  This is a St. Louis crêpe made with Ham Mozzarella cheese and fresh basil with Bechamel sauce.

Actually 2 people can eat this crepe.  The portion is very generous and Kevin can never finish the whole crepe on his own.
